Surprise

The twins are working on a "surprise" for George Michael.

In a moment of my infinite crackheadedness, I realized I used the wrong last name for the blog. I'll need to fix that.

Emily is so excited - we ordered her dresser/changing table today! THANKS YOU GUYS!!!!!! It was $399 - Joey insisted on finishing the cost and I didn't turn her down. Gramma is good. So, hopefully, the dresser will arrive before the shower. If not, I will print a picture for anyone who wants to see it.

With that, please be sure to bring your promised contribution to the shower.

Thank you!!!! We are getting close. I plan to do my sweing and painting projects this week.

GIFT PART 2

We raised $360 for Emily's gift!!! Yeah!!! Please be sure to bring your promised contributions to the shower. A million thanks to you guys!!!!

Emily's dresser is $400....but is not instock. She is looking for one elsewhere. If she finds it, I will just get her a gift card to the appropriate store and she will make up any cost difference. If she cannot find the right dresser....she wants her bedding and mattress. She is currently deciding and I will let you know when she lets me know. If we do the latter, and there is any change, we will spend the $$ on other things off her registry.

Thank you again!!!!!!!

GIFT

So far, we have raised $220 towards a gift. I still need emails from 4 of you on what you want to do. If we raise enough, we may be able to do Emily's hutch/dresser. You have been EXTREMELY generous and I thank you so much. When I know the grand tally of what we can spend, I will post it along with her registery options that we may be able to get. YEAH!!!!!

I have decided - per my mom's help - to skip punch altogether. Sweet tea, lemonade, milkshakes, and water should be sufficient.

Please let me know if there are any revisions to this. Shelly and Lori - if no one else claims it, would you guys care to bring a hashbrown casserole? Mom, if you still want another dish okra or something else would be good - or you all can swap.

Anything missing?

SERVING DISHES: Please use glass - clear, brown, green, orange, or blue glass. If you don't have this, please let me know and I will get you something. Mary and Rebecca, please make sure Gayle is apprised.

Dinosaurs

"Dinosaurs are a diverse group of reptiles. They were the dominant terrestrial vertebrates for over 160 million years, from the late Triassic period (about 230 million years ago) until the end of the Cretaceous period (about 65 million years ago), when the Cretaceous–Tertiary extinction event caused the extinction of most dinosaur species, except for some birds. The fossil record indicates that birds evolved from theropod dinosaurs during the Jurassic period, and most paleontologists regard them as the only group of dinosaurs to have survived until the present day.[1]"
